To support NHS clinicians seeking consent from potential participants to the 100,000 Genomes Project, the Genomics Education Programme developed a 90-minute online course, published in March 2015. The course, Preparing for the Consent Conversation, covered:

A PDF version, designed as a reference for those who had completed the course, was made available to learners. Following the completion of the recruitment phase of the 100,000 Genomes Project in 2018, the online course was archived, but the PDF can be viewed here as a reference.
