A new one-day training event, Endocrine Genetic Testing, is taking place on 12 September in Manchester.
Endorsed by the Society for Endocrinology, the event will provide those working in endocrinology with training in how to use genomic information in routine clinical pathways, as well as how to better diagnose and manage patients with hereditary endocrine disorders.
All registered delegates who attend in person will receive a certificate of attendance and the event will be accredited for CPD points. All eligible delegates will receive their certificate after the event.
To provide attendees with a genomics knowledge boost before the event, the National Genomics Education programme has just launched its new endocrinology collection in GeNotes, a free educational resource developed specifically for endocrinologists in collaboration with clinical experts working across the NHS – including event speakers Dr Louise Izatt, Professor Márta Korbonits, Dr Miles Levy and Dr Paul Newey.
