Scientist Training Programme (STP) applicants, interested in a career in genetic/genomic counselling, are encouraged to sign-up to this second lunchtime taster session providing an STP-training overview and tips for an application. This lunchtime event will last around 45 minutes.
A genetic counsellor will talk about how the STP training programme is structured at St George’s Hospital, to give prospective applicants an insight into what the STP entails. Then, a second-year STP trainee will discuss the application process and share some valuable application tips.
