This 3-day hybrid conference is for clinicians (working across genetic counselling, nursing, medical genetics and/or in the application of genetic technology in their practice), and academics (working across social sciences, psychology, ethics and genetic counselling research) who want to hear the best practices in genetic counselling on a global scale.

Topics will cover education, training and regulations. Attendees will also hear from experts on the importance of working with diverse and underserved populations in genetic counselling. Additionally, sessions will examine the impact of technology, including artificial intelligence, on the counselling process. A dedicated workshop will focus on fostering collaboration in genetic counselling research, with the goal of establishing a network of researchers committed to advancing the field.

Registration costs include £105 for virtual attendance or £496 for in-person attendance. There are reduced fees for trainees and students. For more information on this event, including costs and how to register, please visit its webpage or contact the event’s hosts, Wellcome Connecting Science.
