This free half-day virtual training programme is for NHS healthcare professionals, working in any specialism, wanting to learn about the National Genomic Test Directory and how to leverage it for patients. There will be interactive workshops, with focus on rare disease and cancer conditions, and opportunities to engage and ask questions.
Focus will be on:
- the use of the National Genomic Test Directory;
- the key points to cover during conversations with patients;
- consenting of patients for genomic testing; and
- communicating genetic test results.
