My genomics journey: three perspectives
The film series, ‘My genomics journey: three perspectives’, was developed to shine a light on the breadth of experiences of patients living with genomic conditions, and to understand the life-changing impact that a diagnosis can have for a person and their family.
In this montage, we meet Isobel, who was diagnosed with lung cancer after coughing up blood with no prior symptoms; Loretta, who had lived with pain since she was a child and was eventually diagnosed with Fabry disease after years on her diagnostic odyssey; and Tom, who was diagnosed with Lynch syndrome after a family history of bowel cancer led him to genomic testing.
