The Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) annual conference 2019 is expected to attract more than 1,500 GPs, practice teams, academics and other healthcare professionals over three days.
The event is renowned for attracting expert speakers from across the UK and globally. This year, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care Matt Hancock will deliver the plenary address, in addition to Michael Marmot, an expert on global health inequalities, who has also been confirmed as the keynote speaker.
Confirmed conference streams include updates on government policy and clinical care; the issues and opportunities for trainees and early-career GPs; how new technologies can develop innovative patient services; medical education, and how busy professionals can enhance their own wellbeing.
In addition to the conference programme, the exhibition will showcase more than 100 exhibitors and up to 300 posters and papers from researchers and innovators.
