Use in clinical context
Multidisciplinary teams meet to discuss the different conditions and treatment plans of patients in their care. A Genomics multidisciplinary team may involve a range of professionals including, specialist clinicians such as cardiologists and oncologists, specialist nurses, clinical geneticists, genetic councillors and clinical scientists, and any healthcare professional involved in the patient’s care.
