Additional places available for genomics taught courses
A limited number of funded places are available for our Master’s and Postgraduate Certificate in Genomic Medicine
All of our university partners are now accepting applications for funded study starting this autumn.
Postgraduate certificate
The PG Certificate has been developed with all healthcare professions in mind, using key content from the Master’s in Genomic Medicine to create a flexible and tailored perspective on genomics and its uses in healthcare. It is suitable for healthcare professionals from a wide range of backgrounds, including nursing, midwifery, medicine and healthcare science. The course is also suitable for non-healthcare professionals, such as those working in public health or commissioning.
The study framework has been designed to accommodate busy workloads, with four weeks of teaching followed by assessments. Unlike for the full Master’s qualification, there is no research dissertation to complete. Please contact our university partners directly for module options.
Places are limited, and you are advised to submit your application as soon as possible. If you wish to study at Cambridge, please note that the application process for 2017/18 academic year closes on 24th April.
Master’s
The Master’s programme combines hands-on practical learning and theoretical sessions in a multi-professional environment. The course is designed to be flexible and provide participants with the most up-to-date knowledge of genomic research and practice in the world today.
Places are limited and anyone interested is encouraged to apply as soon as possible. For more details about the modules, eligibility criteria and how to apply, click here.
Funding for these courses is available through the Genomics Education Programme, and the funding application form needs to be submitted simultaneously with the university application. Applicants must also secure their manager’s approval to undertake study.
