Following on from this summer’s launch of the chief medical officer’s annual report, Generation Genome, Dame Sally Davies along with chief scientific officer Professor Sue Hill and other world-leading experts will be speaking at a one-day conference on Tuesday 28th November.
A vision for healthcare
‘Healthy Futures: Genomics and Beyond’ will explore how genomics and other emerging technologies are transforming the healthcare landscape. Organised and hosted by PHG Foundation, the conference will take place at Clare College, Cambridge. Other speakers include Dr Robert C Green of Harvard Medical School and European Society for Person-Centred Healthcare president Sir Jonathan Asbridge.
The conference is suitable for anyone with an interest in aspects of genomic medicine and personalised healthcare – practical, policy, or person-centred – including NHS scientific, clinical and policy professionals, and patient and public representatives.
Tickets and booking information
Tickets are £160 for the day, including all refreshments, snacks, a networking lunch and closing reception. A reduced rate is available for NHS employees for a limited time.
