Free event for pathologists and scientists in the NHS
This exciting one-day workshop will feature presentations from the chief scientific officer and leading experts from numerous clinical specialties
On Thursday 26th October, Health Education England’s London and South East School of Pathology is hosting a one-day educational conference: ‘Pathologists in GENEs – genomics education & engagement’.
The workshop, taking place in Bloomsbury, London, will feature presentations from several experts in the field, including England’s chief scientific officer Professor Sue Hill, who will talk about ‘Delivering the genomics agenda’. Other presentation topics featured in the programme include:
- 100,000 Genomes Project
- The patient pathway
- Pharmacogenomics
- Research in genomics
- Thrombogenomics
- Platforms for genomic investigation
- Genomics in clinical practice in microbiology, chemical pathology, haematology, and histopathology
