New horizon-scanning webinar series for 2023
The GEP has launched an exciting series of expert webinars designed to create a link between academia and genomics education
The Genomics Education Programme (GEP) is delighted to launch a new series of horizon-scanning expert webinars, LinkAGE (Linking Academia with Genomics Education), this January. These webinars will feature expert perspectives on exciting ‘bench-to-bedside’ projects likely to impact on clinical practice in the not-too-distant future.
The series will explore different subject areas and will be presented by specialists who will share details of their cutting-edge research, new techniques and technologies, and any clinical implications this may have for healthcare professionals and patients. The webinar recordings will later form a freely accessible compendium to help prepare the healthcare workforce for genomic advances.
The series continues
The first webinar in the series – an introduction to gene directed therapies – was presented by cellular therapeutics expert Dr James Patterson and is now available to watch on demand. The second and third webinar will available to watch in due course.
You can find upcoming LinkAGE expert webinars on our events page.
Are these webinars for me?
The target audience will vary for each webinar, depending on the topic, but we expect the topics will interest those researchers and clinicians who have a very good understanding of fundamental genomic concepts: primarily those clinicians who are spearheading the integration of genomics into their specialties or those working in genomics-based fields.
More webinars are planned over the coming months, so make sure to follow us on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn for further details.
