Postgraduate certificate in Genomic Medicine at Cambridge
The University of Cambridge is offering learners the chance to join the postgraduate certificate in Genomic Medicine course in April 2016
The University of Cambridge is offering the Postgraduate Certificate in Genomic Medicine as part of its suite of postgraduate courses in genomic medicine. Applications are now open for the course, which begins in April this year. Interested learners can apply now to start the course in April, however all applications need to be submitted by 31st January 2016.
Any learners wishing to take individual modules as CPPD may be able to do so if places are available. The core modules and dates are as follows:
- Core Module 1: An introduction to human genetics and genomics (18-22 April 2016)
- Core Module 2: Omics techniques and their application to genomic medicine (4-8 July 2016)
- Core Module 3: Genomics of common and rare inherited diseases (9-13 May 2016)
- Core Module 4: Molecular pathology of cancer and application in cancer diagnosis, screening, and treatment (30 January – 3 February 2017)

Eligible learners can also receive funding for the courses from Health Education England by completing a the application form
