National 100,000 Genomes Project consent training day
Join us in December to learn the skills and knowledge required to recruit and consent patients to the 100,000 Genomes Project
HEE’s Genomics Education Programme in conjunction with the Birmingham Women’s Hospital Clinical Genetics and West Midlands GMC Education Team will be hosting the second National Consent Training Day on Monday 12 December 2016 at Stuart House in London (WC1B 5DN) from 10:00am to 16:00.
This full day training will provide the opportunity to learn and practice key skills, and to meet colleagues from other GMCs who are also involved in the 100,000 Genomes Project consent process. This day is primarily aimed for people who will be delivering consent training in their GMC or local Trust, however it is relevant for anyone who would like additional training and support for their own consent practice.
Please contact Charlotte Szczepanik to register your interest. Further details about the day will be sent closer to the date.
