The 100,000 Genomes Project information line
A new dedicated telephone service for current and potential participants will provide information and answer queries
Genomics England, working in partnership with the South West NHS GMC, have launched a new 100,000 Genomes Project information telephone service. The aim is to maximise the number of eligible participants joining the project and increase accessibility for potential participants. The information line will supplement the support that participants receive from their NHS GMCs by providing a resource to answer questions.
Who’s it for?
Eligible potential participants can be referred to the information line with any questions they have about taking part in the Project. The information line will answer ad-hoc questions from current and potential participants, who will also be able to book an appointment to go through the consent materials in detail. Unfortunately the information line can’t offer individual medical advice, or any advice about eligibility.
More details of this service are available on the factsheet, from your local NHS GMC team or Genomics England.
